Tip: The best investment, hands down, is to educate yourself

You don't need a finance degree to be a successful investor.

You don't need a finance degree to be a successful investor. Many would-be investors are intimidated by the massive number of investment firms and experts out there. They think they will be eaten alive if they step into the financial investing jungle. That isn't the case - there is so much good online information that is easily accessible and understandable so we can all learn to invest successfully. I started with the Investing for Beginners Podcast and branched out from there. There are also lots of easy to read or listen to investment books from Peter Lynch, Phil Town, Joel Greenblat and Mohnish Prabai. If you haven't yet ventured into investing, I encourage you to teach yourself with these materials.
